The case with three brass-lined pads to the break-arch top, brass-lined arched glazed panels to the sides and on brass bracket feet, the dial with Roman and Arabic white enamel chapter disc with pierced blued steel hands, strike/silent enamel disc in the arch, foliate spandrels, the five pillar twin chain fusee movement with anchor escapement and strike on bell above, pendulum holdfast to the back-plate engraved with the signature Williamson London within a formalised cartouche beneath an engraved basket of fruit flanked by flowers; similarly engraved winding key signed Williamson London
