The moulded rectangular cornice above a central pair of Gothic glazed doors, enclosing a plain interior with four adjustable shelves, flanked to either side by a glass panelled door enclosing a plain interior with two adjustable shelves, above a central frieze drawer enclosing a writing-surface, above a hinged fall-front with an ebony surface to the reverse, enclosing a fitted interior with seven variously-sized drawers, four pigeon-holes, two secret drawers and a sliding writing-surface, flanked to either side by a white-marble Corinthian pilaster and a door enclosing a plain interior with one shelf, above three central drawers flanked to either side by a door, enclosing a plain interior with one shelf, on square tapering legs
