The rectangular triple flap inlaid with boxwood and ebonised lines and with a central hinged mirror flanked by two hinged flaps, each enclosing a well, one removable, above a panelled frieze drawer with stiff-leaf raised panels and ribbon-tied confronting cornucopiae escutcheons, the shaped knee hole flanked by a fitted pen drawer and a simulated drawer to the other side, the panelled sides and reverse similarly mounted, in cut-cornered square legs with canted ormolu sabots, twice with pencil inscription '52002', the central drawer originally with leather-lined writing-slide, partially remounted and bearing the false stamp 'JH. RIESENER', reveneered
