marked P. Ovchinnikov with Imperial warrant, Moscow, 1875
Baluster-shaped, on stepped domed foot and shaped stem decorated with bands of geometric motifs on different coloured grounds, the body with stylized foliate scrolls on blue and white grounds incorporating two blank roundels and enclosing green champlevé enamel foliate scrolls on gilt ground, with bands of geometric motifs, the neck with a Russian adage, the domed detachable cover similarly decorated and with twisted knop finial, marked under base and inside cover
