(39x4cm.) high; two further figures of a Guanyin, one black laquered wood holding a ruyi sceptre and gourd flask, the other amber coloured resin, largest -- 9¾in. (24.8cm.) high; a small ivory seated Budai; a pale green jade model of a dog of Fo with broken feet; and a smoky quartz figure of a seated Budai and boy on gilt wooden stand, largest -- 4¼in. The quartz Guanyin was a gift to Coward from Sir Charles Blake Cochran, and is pictured in the hallway of Gerald Road in an article in She magazine entitled Noël Coward's London Home home, November, 1955. Charles Cochran produced numerous Coward plays including Bitter Sweet, Private Lives and Cavalcade
