Lot Essay

According to the vendor, this shirt and mask were purchased by the vendor's great aunt and uncle in 1942 at a public benefit auction in aid of the Free French Relief Committee, hosted by Tyrone Power in the grounds of his home in Brentwood.

The shirt is identical to that worn throughout the film by Tyrone Power, the mask is similar to one of the two masks seen in the film. The other is different in style
