Such dyelines were issued to the relevant departments for reference to the various sets used throughout production; this particular set were issued to the vendor in his job as the scenic artist.

The Tales Of Hoffman, another Powell and Pressburger collaboration following on from the success of The Red Shoes, again starred Moira Shearer and Robert Helpmann. Hein Heckroth was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Art Direction.
