Audrey Hepburn is seen wearing this suit when she and Adam Caulfield [Cary Grant] report to the police that another of the men suspected of murdering her husband has himself been murdered. The scene continues as Hepburn and Grant walk along the banks of the Seine back to the hotel.

The vendor's husband worked as a production executive on Charade and aquired the suit after filming had finished, when costumes were no longer required they were offered to the crew.
