Lot Essay

In the film, Myra and Odell Gardener are the theatre producers who lost heavily when the temperamental Arlena Marshall walked out on their hit show. The 'zebra' dress is seen as the hotel guests gather on the first evening for cocktails; the jacket is seen on the final evening following the murder, when Poirot [Peter Ustinov] questions the guests on their whereabouts during the day.
