A LATE VICTORIAN OAK LIBRARY BOOKCASE
Circa 1890
Of inverted breakfront form, the carved moulded cornice above a carved frieze centred by a lion mask, the central glazed section with two arched doors, flanked by carved caryatid pilasters with festoons of fruit and flowers with arched glazed doors to either side, the lower section with four panelled doors with carved relief panels and lion mask mounts flanked by tapering carved pilasters on a conforming plinth base
