Maker's mark indistinct, hallmarked 1884
The shallow bowl flanked by a pair of mythical bird scrolled handles on a lappeted stem with a squared knop, and a conical base with rhomboidal feet, engraved and enamelled in the Old Russian style with geometric and stylised animal and bird motifs, engraved with inscription in Russian: "In Remembrance of Petrokov 1867-1884"
