A Charles II brass lantern timepiece with alarm

The case of typical form with ringed columns and detachable side doors, the dial signed 'Joseph Knibb London' within tulip engraving with a central silvered calibrated alarm ring, the silvered narrow chapter ring with Roman chapters and sword-hilt half hour markers, pierced blued steel hand, the going train with verge escapement, the alarm striking on a bell above affixed with straps secured to the angle finials with later fretwork between, the back-plate with hanging loops and spurs; four brass-cased weights, two painted Iden Coll. 2017.
