拍場告示
Drs. Luuk Pijl has informed us that four other versions of this composition are known:
1) Milan, Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, on copper, 25 x 32 cm., without figures.
2) Saint Petersburg, Hermitage, on copper, 26 x 35 cm.
3) American Private Collection, on copper, 25,5 x 35,5 cm., with signature 'P.Bril'.
4) Anon Sale, Sotheby's, 15 Feb. 1989, lot 38, as 'Anton Mirou' (£63,800).
.
Drs. Pijl believes that the first was painted in the studio of Jan Brueghel I but that the others might be by one hand. He believes the best candidate is Anton Mirou but since they follow the first not only in subject but also in handling, he feels this may be difficult to establish.
