The case with a handle to the bell top, applied with foliate mounts, with four acorn finials, later pierced fish scale sound frets to the sides, on moulded brass block feet, the dial signed Nath. Sergeant London, on a silvered plaque in the matted centre with mock pendulum aperture, silvered chapter ring with pierced blued steel hands foliate spandrels, strike/silent ring in the arch, pendulum holdfast to the backplate with foliate engraving, doors locked, restorations
