Wax capsules embossed "Noval 1945", cracked and chipped, three capsules missing in lot 648. No labels. Levels base of neck or better Tasting note: This is still a beautiful wine, with a palish red-brown colour and subtle spicey aromas of immense charm. There are no signs of its sweet fruit being dominated by alcohol, indeed its harmony, softness and length put it among the greatest bottles of the vintage. A.H.
