Only three hundred bottles were made of this wine from a production of just one barrel. The barrel was purchased in the annual Hospices de Beaune auction for the record price of 300,000 FF by Jean-Marie Guffens of Maison Verget. The proceeds of the sale of this unique lot went to the charity "La Maison pour d'Enfants Malades". The wine was then elevaged and bottled by Dominique Laurent. A total of 24 bottles were shipped to the UK but none of these have ever previously been offered for sale.
