A blue and white Jasper shield-shaped scent-bottle and a stopper
Circa 1790
The dipped grey-blue ground applied in white relief, the neck with a band of stiff leaves, the sides with figures of 'Poor Maria' and 'The Bourbonnais Shepherd' beneath garlands and within running scroll borders, with white jasper stopper and metal mounts and screw-top cover (chip to neck and slight chip to relief, the mounts and cover probably later replacements)
