A Wedgwood black basalt vestal-lamp and cover
Second half 19th Century, impressed upper-case mark
With oval cover and seated reading vestal handle, the upper surface fluted, the lower section moulded with an oak-leaf border above stiff flowers and leaves, on a slender fluted foot and octagonal base (vestal's head restuck, finial to cover lacking)
