Painted in the Kakiemon palette with the Flaming Tortoise Pattern of a flaming salamander flanked by cranes in a mountainous landscape with pine, prunus and bamboo, the interior with a dragon, the border with trailing iron-red foliage and gilt flowerheads (very slight rubbing to gilding, very slight wear and scratches to enamels)
