The cannelee case with stepped base and top, fluted handle, with foliate scroll engraved and matted gilt-brass mask to the white enamel Roman dial with rubbed signature for RICHARD & CIE, blued steel hands, with alarm dial below, the twin barrel movement with good quality silvered platform to the cut bimetallic balance with lever escapement, strike/repeat/alarm on two gongs to the backplate with stamp for Quinet & Richard and numbered 287, with three position sonnerie adjustment lever to underside -- 6in. (15cm.) high
