A Swiss subminiature gilt-brass and Limoges enamel travel timepiece, late 19th century
The engraved case with mauve enamel panels to the sides, rear and top, each decorated en grisaille with faeries and with gilt leaves, with conforming front panel depicting two cherubs (chipped losses), white enamel Roman dial (hairline crack), the single barrel movement with cut-away backplate revealing vertically positioned cylinder escapement with plain balance, maker's mark to underside of case GH flanking an anchor -- 2in. (5cm.) high
