The urn shaped bleu-de-roi case painted with cherubs, with lion mask mounts to the sides and topped by the figure of a cherub with a scythe, the base mounted to one side with the figure of an amorino playing a mandolin and to the other with another holding a scroll, the white enamel Roman dial painted with a bird amidst flowers to the centre and inscribed FRANKFURT A/M, the twin barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell, stamped on the backplate H & F PARIS -- 23½in. (60cm.) high; and the pair of six-light candelabra en suite -- 22½in. (57cm.) high (3)
