Of typical form, the arched bracket with gilt painted lead cresting modelled with lions and carved and painted mermaid side supports, the clock resting on four turmed feet above a scroll bracket base painted with flowers, the clock with lead cresting, sides and apron, dial painted with figures and flowers, with landscape to the centre, brass hands and alarm disc, the movement within four typical columns, with vertical verge escapement and countwheel strike and alarm on bell via two hammers -- 28in. Lots will be available for collection following transfer to Cadogan Tate from the Friday following the sale and every week-day from 9.00am to 5.00pm.
Please note that there will be no charge to purchasers who collect their lots within one week of the sale.
On the Thursday, one week after the sale, a transfer and administration charge of £18.50 per lot will be payable and a storage charge of £3.20 per lot per day will then come into effect. These charges are payable to Cadogan Tate and are subject to VAT and an insurance surcharge.
