The case with swan neck pediment (partial loss), ebony and satinwood line inlaid borders, hygrometer above bayonet-fixed silvered mercury thermometer to the trunk, 10in. diameter silvered and engraved main dial above spirit level signed J. MAVER No. 281 Holborn London -- 39¾in. (101cm.) high
