BIBLE, in German -- [Biblia das ist: Die gantze heilige Schrift], Frankfurt: Hans Lufft, 1550 [colophon on Nn4 dated 1560]. 2 parts in one volume, 2°, first title printed in red and black within a large historiated woodcut border, 2 portraits, woodcut illustrations and initials (general title almost completely torn away, lacking A1 of the second part, some margins strengthened, a few clean tears and stains, mainly marginal thumb-soiling, marginal worming and waterstaining at end), contemporary blind-stamped calf over wooden boards (wormed, covers detached, worn). Sold not subject to return.
