MANUSCRIPT -- illuminated manuscript on vellum, in Latin and Spanish, Saragossa, 1680. 256 x 185mm., 18 leaves including 2 vellum endleaves, 22 lines written in brown ink in an elegant cursive hand within a ruled border of two triple fillets, 2 DECORATIVE HEADPIECES with opening words in capitals of liquid gold surrounded by pendrawn birds, fruits, flowers and foliage, 4 FULL-PAGE ARMORIAL MINIATURES in colours, liquid gold and silver, one protective silk leaf and stubs of 2 others (first two leaves darkened and cockled, occasional slight spotting, lacking seal), contemporary red velvet with remnants of 2 yellow silk fore-edge ties (extremities rubbed, slight worming).
