Jean-Francois Coche-Dury has a magic touch as a white wine-maker, producing beautifully integrated, creamily-textured wines of delicacy, character and length. They are normally neither fined nor filtered. He is known for his brilliant Meursaults, but also makes small quantities of Corton-Charlemagne. Vintages of 1991 and older Corton-Charlemagne are ready for drinking. 1992 and 1995 will benefit from further ageing, while 1993 would be perfect for this year's special occasions. AH
