The centre painted with a Turkish woman seated on a rock beneath drapery and proffering a flower to a man seated to the left, a Turkish man in the background holding a sceptre in a landscape, the well with iron-red ornament between yellow lines, the border with a garland of blue and pink drapery (star crack just above the center, rim chip at 12 o'clock, slight rubbing to centre)
