Details
A great vintage, caught between the hugely popular and much bought 1927's and the overstock and slump conditions that followed. It was therefore not generally declared and is famous for one wine that I have always described as "the Everest of Port" because of its monumental qualities.
Many notes of Noval and Noval Nacional, the latter having even greater concentrations, still with years of life, the last, bottled by David Sandeman, tastedin March 1998. MB
