A Meissen Kakiemon fluted beaker and saucer Circa 1728, blue enamel crossed swords marks, incised Japanese Palace inventory number N=341-/W to both pieces and Dreher's / to footrims
Painted in blue, turquoise, iron-red, black and gilt with two Orientals at discussion, one seated holding a fan, the other standing before a vase of flowers, with two turquoise birds in flight (two minute footrim chips to beaker, slight wear to enamels of saucer)
