A Meissen composite part tea and coffee-service
Circa 1750, blue crossed swords marks, various Pressnummern, the coffee-pot with gilder's 28
Painted with peasants in landscape vignettes after Teniers and with scattered flowers, the rims enriched with gilding, comprising:
A pear-shaped coffee-pot and a cover, with wishbone handle and scroll-moulded spout (restoration to spout and cover)
A hot-milk jug and cover with ozier moulded border (restoration to spout, chips to cover)
An arched rectangular tea-caddy and a cover (restoration to cover and rim of tea-caddy)
A slop-bowl with ozier moulded border (slight chips to rim)
A spoon-tray
Three tea-cups (two with cracks to base of handles, one with minute chip to rim)
Three saucers (some slight rubbing and scratching)
