Last tasted, from magnum, in November 1977. Noted then : a gorgeous violet color, with rim just beginning to show maturity. A wonderfully forward, slightly sweet and stalky black cherry nose; intense flavours of dried cherries, still tannic and holding back, hint of celery root, and a long tangy finish suggesting a variety of dried fruits. Outstanding wine. FH
