The sides painted in shades of underglaze blue with triangular blue-ground lappets enclosing scrolling foliage, reserved on a ground of white-celled 'cracked-ice' pattern, the shallow domed covers similarly decorated and surmounted by a hinged handle and with a floral-lozenge divide (2)
