Circa 1745, blue crossed swords mark at back
Modelled by J.J. Kändler, playing the flute, in yellow hat, turquoise frock-coat, white shirt, pale-beige breeches, his shoes with yellow flowerheads, a satchel at his right side and his dog at his feet, leaning against a tree-stump applied with a flowering branch (restoration to right wrist and dog's left ear, some minor chipping to extremities)
