A pair of figures of the Marquis and La Cocotte from the Cris de Paris series
Circa 1757, she with blue crossed swords mark at back and impressed 36, he with impressed 37
Modelled by P. Reinicke, he in puce jacket and breeches, flowered-yellow cuffs and waistcoat and black shoes, holding his black tricorn hat under his left arm, a sword at his side, she in puce dress with blue bows and yellow underskirt, holding a fan, both standing on scroll-moulded mound bases applied with flowers and foliage and enriched with gilding (he with restoration to jacket, waistcoat, hat, left arm, right foot and tip of sword, she with restoration to arms, bows and black drapery)
