A Meissen figure of a Drummer
Circa 1745, blue crossed swords mark at back, Pressnummer 2 and D
Modelled by P.E. Reinicke, in black hat, pink-lined yellow jacket, white shirt, turquoise breeches and black shoes with puce rosettes, with a drum over his left arm, a drum-stick in his right hand and playing a pipe, standing on a mound base applied with flowers and foliage (restoration to hat, drum-stick, edge of frock-coat, some minor chipping to foliage part of the drum-stick and pipe lacking)
