Four Meissen figures of Cupid in disguise
Circa 1750, two with blue crossed swords mark at back, the pastry-seller with impressed G
One in a black tricorn hat with a sword slung from a belt at his side and playing a drum (restoration to hat and wings, left hand, drum-sticks and sword, chip to hat ribbon), another in a black gilt-edged tricorn hat playing the bagpipes and operating a foot pedal with two puppets (restoration to one wing, bagpipes, foot-pedal and puppets), another as a pastry-seller, in pink and yellow hat and purple-lined yellow jacket, holding a wicker tray of pastries (restoration to wings, right hand and left thumb), and another disguised a a lady, holding a fan and in a lace cap, ruff and cuffs and indianische Blumen skirt (restoration to top half of body, plume and fan), all scantily clad on mound and scroll-moulded bases
