Lot Essay

Lieutenant-Colonel Henry Weston (1786-1828) was posted to the 2nd European Regiment when he arrived in India, transferrred to the 19th Bengal Native Infantry in 1803. He was then transferred to the 3rd on promotion to Lieutenant-Colonel in April 1828. He died six months later at Kumaon, India on 21st September 1828.
