An evening dress of blue silk, the turquoise bodice with cross-over fastening trimmed with a frill, the long sleeves with zip detailing at cuffs, the voluminous skirt in horizontal bands of mediterranean blue and turquoise, each band similarly trimmed with a frill, with Yves Saint Laurent, Paris, label, numbered 33811, circa 1970s; accompanied by two corresponding publicity stills by Donald Southern of Fonteyn in the lobby of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, one of her with H.M.The Queen Mother in the Crush Bar of the Royal Opera House after the Royal Gala for the first performance of Kenneth MacMillan's ballet Manon, Royal Opera House, March 7th, 1964, both -- 75/8in.x9¾in.
