Approximately two hundred and fifty photographs and snap-shots of Margot Fonteyn circa 1930s-1950s, majority black and white and pre-1945, by various photographers, a number with photographer's ink credit on reverse, including: five shots by Angus McBean; eighteen by Vivienne, two of these additionally mounted on card and signed and inscribed by photographer on mount in black ink Vivienne, London; sixteen portraits by Paul Tanqueray and a further six, mounted on card and signed by photographer in pencil on the mount; two shots by Iris of Paris, both signed by photographer; another by Gordon Anthony, signed by the photographer in blue ink and additionally inscribed To Margot, With Love, from Gordon, Aug 1940; various subjects include: Fonteyn in her E.N.S.A. uniform, Fonteyn sewing ribbons onto her ballet shoes, Fonteyn ill in bed with Diptheria and various modelling portraits, majority 8x10in.
