A vanity case of white leather with green stitch detailing, and additional foul weather cover of chocolate coloured canvas, the case lined in green moiré silk, opening to reveal a mirror and two side compartments, with removeable tray fitted with bottles and compacts and with closed compartments for make-up and jewellery, containing an assortment of costume jewellery, make-up, false eye lashes, hair grips and miscellaneous correspondence, stamped in gilt Tripmode,New York -- 14½x10x7½in. (37x25.5x19cm); and seven black and white press stills by various photographers of Fonteyn seated at her dressing table at various stages throughout her career, circa 1950s-1970s, largest -- 10x8in.
