A Royal Crown Derby dark-blue-ground ovoid vase and cover
with richly-gilt scroll-moulded handles, painted by C. Gresley with a spray of flowers within a gilt tear-shaped cartouche issuing gilt scrolling foliage, signed, the reverse with a lesser cartouche, the leaf-moulded lower section issuing flowering foliage with white 'jewelled' heads, printed iron-red mark, the cover with date code for 1906 (cover restored, rubbing to gilding) -- 24cm. high
