A Japanese bronze and enamel tripod censor
19th Century
of compressed globular form, a band of champleve lappets around the body, pierced mythical bird handles, the cover mounted with a large finial in the form of a karashishi -- 7½in. (19cms) high; a small Japanese square gold ground lacquer box, the cover decorated with a landscape scene, nashiji interior; a Chinese soapstone brush washer in the form of a lotus leaf; and a Cantonese enamel tea caddy and cover reserved with birds, butterflies and insects amid fruit and flower sprays on a blue ground and two panels of figures at leisure -- 5¼in. (13.4cms) high max, (damages).
