A selection of Chinese jade and malachite carvings
18th/19th century
comprising a malachite carving of a seated Immortal -- 3¼in. (8.2cms) high, wood stand; a grey and pale celadon pierced jade plaque modelled as a bamboo section -- 2½in. (6.5cms) high; a mottled grey jade bi disc carved with archaic motifs -- 2in. (5cms) diam; a celadon and russet bi disc with articulated central flowerhead -- 2in. (5cms) diam; and a mottled cream and grey jade disc with carved studs -- 1¾in. (4.5cms) diam.
