decorated in hiramakie and nashiji with floral mon, the bronze mounts incised with scrolling foliage -- 23¾in. (60.3cm) wide; another in red lacquer carved in low relief with shaped panels of figures and attendants in garden landscapes, birds and flowers -- 24in. (61cm) high; another in a dense, dark hardwood, carved and pierced with a Mount Fuji landscape scene -- 171/8in. (43.5cm) wide; another decorated in lac bergaute with figures in a landscape scene -- 17¾in. (45cm) wide; and six further sword stands in soft and hardwoods, the largest -- 18in. (45.7cnm) wide. (10)
