maker's mark of Edward & John Barnard, London, 1852 and 1853
Comprising a coffee pot, teapot, two-handled sugar basin and cream jug, each on moulded foot, each chased and engraved overall with scrolls and foliage, the pear-shaped coffee pot and the compressed spherical teapot each with octagonal leaf-capped curved spout and hinged cover with fruit and foliage finial, marked on bases, covers and finials
