Shaped-circular and on three openwork scroll feet, with openwork wave border, the centre engraved with a band of foliate scrolls and a rococo shell and foliage cartouche enclosing a later coat-of-arms, marked on reverse

The arms are those of Ogle with Solley in pretence for Captain Chaloner Ogle R.N. (d.1814) and his wife Catherine, daughter of the Rev. Joseph Solley, Prebendary of Winchester, whom he married in 1764. Mary, second daughter of Sir Edmund Ogle, 6th Bt.
