Shaped-oval on four fluted leaf-capped scroll feet and with shell and scroll bracket handles, detachable domed cover and detachable flower and foliage finial, with gadrooned borders, the body engraved with a coat-of-arms and two crests, each beneath Baron's coronet, with plain detachable liner with scroll bracket handles, marked on base, cover, finial and liner, the base engraved with scratchweight and inventory number 'No.2 Oz 134,14', the liner stamped 'MAKEPEACE LONDON'
