Vase-shaped and on spreading circular foot, the partly-fluted body with two leaf-capped scroll handles, the detachable domed cover chased with bands of flutes with baluster finial, the cup engraved with a coat-of-arms within a foliage cartouche and later engraved with a crest with Baron's coronet above, marked on base and side, the cover unmarked
