THE PROPERTY OF THE LATE MRS AND MRS MELVYN ROLLASON Melvyn and Barbara Rollaston were serious collectors during the pre-and post-war years. With their knowledge and discerning eye they collected works of art for their spectaular Jacobean manor Ludstone Hall, Shroshire and their later house near Stow-on-the-Wold. They are chiefly known for their fine collection of English 17th century and 18th century oak and walnut furniture and the finest British clocks. They also formed a select collection of early English silver, a part of which is offered for sale here.
